From what I read from the spoiler ( Which was only 3 lines) I'm going to have to say

Tron 2.0 is officially non canon.

Somebody who read more then me, please disprove my theory.

I read the whole thing, and I didn't look at it that way at all. There's nothing in those spoilers that contradicts or cancels out the story of the game, at this point.

In fact, it sounds like a semi-sequel to the game. Certain facts in the game line up with what's being planned in the movie. Flynn resigning from ENCOM and disappearing under mysterious circumstances, Alan eventually taking over ENCOM, Flynn using his experiences in the computer to create more games . . .

Yeah, and in one email, Alan even suggests that Flynn propose to make his experiences in the computer into a major Hollywood movie, proving that Kevin Flynn is played by Jeff Bridges who is really Steven Lisberger in disguise.

For those of you who don't know, Daft Punk is doing the soundtrack and Koinski is showing another trailer at the SanDiego Comicon this year.

According to NYTimes, in an article about the 3D technology that was used in Avatar, it was said:

Among the next films to use the same system will be “Tron: Legacy,” a cyberspace adventure due from the director Joseph Kosinski and Walt Disney this December.

I suppose that means that the movie will also be viewed with the 3D glasses. Has anyone heard about this? ....or am I misinterpreting the article?

Nope, you're not misinterpreting it. That's exactly what's happening. The TRON Legacy sequel will be in 3-D and require the glasses to watch.

Yeah, I read the confirmation of 3D glasses as well. Even if they completely ruin the look of the old Tron, this addition would have me going to see it anyway lol Good idea too for anti-piracy reasons.
