How to tell when you used Dedit too much

Post by HangmanEXE »

Thought I would just make a fun little post for those who have used Dedit alot.

How to tell when you have been messing with Dedit for too long at one time!

[Everyone feel free to share on this one!]

...you try zooming and/or rotating screenshots your looking at for map building for better looks at what you cant see...
[rolls eyes... smacks self, lol]
In my day we didn't need these fancy R,G,B, LCD an 3D colors!
A program was happy to process 15 megacycles just to get to use monochrome display! You program's today wouldn't know a hard microcycles work if it came up and derez'd ya from behind!

Another sign you have been working in DEdit too much (from memory, since I haven't had a chance to play with it in months) . . .

You dream in building polies! And you dream of building with the polies first, before checking it out "in world"!

Dream on!

...got another one to add..

You get an incredible idea to alter something your working on in Dedit, you spend hours altering an modifying your design build an it makes it turn out PERFECT! It looks "EXACTLY" as you imagined it would.

...then you wake up... an what upsets you the most is that you realize that you have to redo all that editing all over again... [face palm].
