Windows 7? 64-bit?

Post by kernel »

Hello... man, I thought I'd gotten Tron 2.0 running on Windows 7 but maybe not?
I can't now.
That would explain why there is absolutely no activity here for such a cool thing.
Getting DisneyPlus for Mandalorian then watching Tron stuff (including Uprising) re-kindled my interest in coming back here.
I kinda thought DisneyPlus going off would send more people back here.

I have a licensed disk and have played in the past, including on LDSO Killer App multiplayer a few years back.
But maybe it was on an old XP, 32-bit setup.
I tried the v1.042 patch.
I Run as Administrator under Compatibility Mode set to XP, SP2

Am I beating a dead horse or peeing up a rope?
Thanks
Jeff

Hey there! Sorry for the late reply.

TRON 2.0 will work just fine on Windows 7 64-bit.

I made a video showing TRON 2.0 running on Windows 10 about 3 years ago, and absolutely nothing has changed since then. It still works on the latest Windows 10 64-bit release, no problem.

So if you're having difficulty getting the game to work, it's probably something simple that can be fixed pretty easily. If you can describe what's happening when you're trying to run TRON 2.0, in more detail, we may be able to help.

I think you'll find getting TRON Evolution to work in Windows right now is more of a headache than TRON 2.0, by far . . .
