Sweet! I installed it on my other computer (Ironically, the one that runs TRON 2.0 slower), and it runs GREAT!

I'll try to get it online ASAP, and my name will be Major Havoc.

"How in user's name did you come up with that, Mr. TRON.dll?!?!"

Well, I'm glad you asked, potential communist! You see, I played a port of Atari's vector graphics arcade game "The Adventures of Major Havoc", and so I use the name Major Havoc for all online "War Games". That would mean games like Medal of Honor Heroes 2 (Wii) and Call of Duty: Finest Hour (PS2).

So if you ever see "Major Havoc" bombarding your nation with a nuclear assault, then that's probably me. :-D

I just recently beat the computer! w00t!

I was South America, the computer was Russia.

Final Score:
Major Havoc (Me) - 58
Corporal Noob - 53

THAT was a close game.

I've realized that Russia is very easy to defend. Most of it's cities are joined up in one big cluster, so you can place your air defense silos all in that one spot. However, all of America's cities are spaced far apart, so it's pretty hard to determine appropriate locations for all of your defense silos.

I'm havin' lots of fun against the computer, and I'll hopefully get DEFCON online this weekend.

Prepare to be nuked. MUHAHAHAHAHAHA! :-)

Yeah, but you have to keep a watchful eye out for subs coming from the north. It's easy to get preoccupied with the Atlantic and forget about attacks from right over your head.

I do like Russia because of it's convenient population density, though. I guess you have to trade one for the other.

America is very vulnerable to attacks from East and West, with many of it's major cities being coastal ones. You barely have time to defend before the nukes hit L.A., New York, Miami, etc.

I just recently played online again, and in a 5 player game!

I was South America, some other guy was North America, and another player was Africa. We all signed a peace treaty, which North America eventually broke, and "The Green Alliance", as we called ourselves, ended up ultimately losing.

Best part of that game:
After we signed the peace treaty and formed the "Green Alliance", one of my alliance members said to me, "Got anything to say?". I say to him "I'm nuking Europe." He says "Sweet! I'm in!".

But we still had fun. One thing I noticed that's kinda interesting: Most people I've played who choose Asia usually don't defend Tokyo at all, making it very easy for me to sneak some subs up on 'em and score the first point. After taking out Tokyo, I say:
Ohhhhhhhh no! There goes Tokyo! Go go Godzilla!

Oh, and Avi, is your online name in DEFCON Avi? Just wondering. :D

w00t! 4,000th post on LDSO Forums! That's a landmark!

Sometimes it is. Depends on what mood I'm in, really.

If I see you, I'll let you know who I am.

Alright, sweet.

Just played another 5 player game. Alliances are fun! At least, before someone defects..

I was Russia, and I formed an Alliance with Asia and Europe. In the midst of my assault on the US, Asia dropped out and launched an all out assault on me. In the alliance chat:

Me: CRAP!
Europe: Did that f----- backstab you?
Me: Heck yes!
Europe: Name a target for me to take out with my last silo.
Me: (Names target)
*Target is obliterated*
Europe: Take that you ------CENSORED DUE TO INNAPROPRIATE CONTENT------

Aww man, 5 player games are fun. :D

I love how everyone is so paranoid. Just flying a bomber across the path of a friend's carrier makes them freak out and defect.

lol, never had that happen...

Just to be safe, I warn all allied nations if any of my nukes or bombers are flying over their nation, and where they're headed.

I was in an online match today. I defected just because I felt like it. There was about 30 minutes left on the victory timer, anyways.

Oh, and I lost. Final score for me was -56. :-?

I just played my most epic online game of DEFCON yet!

I was just plain bored, and my opponent was away from his PC (he was Africa), so I launched about 50 nukes at Cairo. After the pretty lights went away, there was no Cairo.
