Post by zook_one »

I bought a new primary monitor today, how do I set TRON 2.0 Killer App Mod for the new resolution 1900x1080?

First off, congrats on getting a new monitor!

I take it you went from a 4:3 monitor to 16:9, correct? Well, the easiest way is to just uninstall the mod and then reinstall it.

You could edit the display.cfg file to change the resolution. But the content of the mod differs depending on what options you choose when you install it. So just editing that file isn't enough to make widescreen work properly.

But when you uninstall the mod, you'll probably want to say no when it asks if you want to delete the TCDG folder. In case you have any of your project work in there.

Thanks, and Thanks, ! got it working. I picked up a Samsung LED BX2440, which is much brighter and better than my Samsung 931B, which is better than my old secondary monitor the CRT Viewsonic 17PS...

Glad to hear you got the widescreen working. That sounds like a really nice monitor. LED is the way to go now, and what amazes me is that model is even pretty affordable. :o

Maybe later this year I'll upgrade to a bigger monitor as well. I've had this one for 3 years, and right now I'm stuck at 1680x1050.
