Here's my install path & file name :
C:\Program Files\Games\Tron 2.0\custom\Mods\UserError\UserError.REZ
The .rez is 266,648,107 bytes (not "size on disk"). I re-downloaded & file compared and they're equal. I'm getting it off the front page on ldso.net.
I recently re-installed tron and it acted a little weird but got it working, maybe somethings lingering. I think I diddled with the official and unofficial patches to the game, and that torked things. Maybe any problems that come up it defaults to standard single player. Lemme re-install and also I'll put it all into the default install path, I'll have to give it a try Sunday night since I'm heading out of town. Can't wait to get back! In the mean time dont worry about it, it's prob my tron install. Thanks for your time!!

Use the program, people! This is what I wrote REZ Handler for. Your troubles could have been avoided if you'd just use the darn program! PDT_Armataz_01_27Daddyo wrote:OMG!!! Thats it!!

Because that part is really, really hard? :lol:TRON.dll wrote:How come, on the part where you get the amidst all the DataWraiths, my health goes from 160 to 8?!?!?!?!?!?
I keep hearing this all the time, from everyone who's played the first part of User Error before. That "Fight for your rights" is too hard. We actually told Meatsack that, way back when we tested it for him.
I think he toned it down a little, but not enough.

Fight for your rights was too hard. The first time I played the demo version of User Error I spent maybe 30 minutes on "Heads up, USER" because my health dropped from 60 to 30. I always assumed that the health drop was intentional, and not a bug, because it remained in the game for the final release.
But, TRON.dll... 160 to 8????? That's a huge drop. My health only makes a drop of around from 30 or 40 points.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
ADVICE FOR ANYONE STUCK ON THIS PART:
1. Quick save a whole lot. Anytime you have a break, Quick save.
2. Regular save before you enter this fight scene.
3. Play the "Meet the Wraiths" part first... you need lots of health for that one, and not as much for "Heads up, USER" (that is, if you play your cards right).
4. I've noticed that how you enter the level had something to do with how my health dropped. I got the lowest health drops one way, and instantaneous de-rez another. I might be wrong, but I seem to remember that if you jump at the teleport spot from the top, you get less of a drop in health. DISCLAIMER: My memory isn't that good, so that might be the way that instantly de-rezzed me. Test is out for yourself.
5. Don't use the , use any a) disc, or b) ball. takes too long to aim, and they'll have already scored a couple hits on you if you try the . This would be fine usually, but there are just too many of them to flirt with this kind of gameplay.
6. Keep at it!
Hope that helps anyone struggling at this part of the game.
I never would have used any of the cheats, though. Cheats are bad. I figure that if someone made and tested the level, it was playable.
I noticed that in the final release, some of the parts of this level were easier. I don't know if that's just me, or if that was intentional.

This guy still is active in the background ? Meatsack always has been our Goofy in the community. Allthough he wasn't the only one who goofed arround he kept his unique touch, didn't he ?tronfaq wrote:Just use mpgod to get past that point. The cheat will automatically be disabled when the next level loads.
Since you can obtain the much earlier, I've never downloaded it from the bin at that point. Sounds like maybe Meatsack goofed?
This UE2 sounds very hard to play. When i read the first time about this i believed it could turn to a multiplayer expension aswell but as i'm figuring right now it is singleplayer content only. Nevertheless i'm happy to see there is still some energy left within this lil scene. Hope it won't stop so early.
