We haven't seen nor heard from him in ages. We partnered with him to make UE2, and took over when he disappeared.
This UE2 sounds very hard to play.
Don't worry, there's only one part in the new levels that could be considered hard. Obviously when we included part one, we left Meatsack's levels as-is. But we made sure not to make people frustrated when they play the new part.

Agreed. If TronFAQ hadn't reminded me of the mpgod cheat, I probably would've given up!
death_program wrote:But, TRON.dll... 160 to <b>8</b>????? That's a <b>huge</b> drop. My health only makes a drop of around from 30 or 40 points.
Sorry, I meant to say <B>116</B> to 8. That's still a lot isn't it?

Actually, there seems to be some kind of a mathematical trick here, lets see...

116/8 = 14.5
60/30 = 2

Anyone got any ideas? Also, when you say 16 new levels, what is considered a level? Is "Fight for your Rights" a level, or is "File Search" a level? Just kinda curious...

No it wasn't, it was more like this:

:lol:

EDIT: Seems like the quote deal only works once, any idea how to fix it?

Yep. There are 16 levels total. This is including the cutscene levels. If you don't count the beginning and ending cutscenes, then it's 14 levels.

The first "true" 5 levels are old. The cutscene at the beginning is new, though. And then the remaining 10 are new.
EDIT: Seems like the quote deal only works once, any idea how to fix it?
You can do it more than once. You just have to type the quote tags yourself. I see you tried that, but I think the problem is the spaces you used. Don't use spaces inside the tags.

Code: Select all

[quote="NameofPerson"]Quoted text here.[/quote]

Evening chaps
Is "Fight for your Rights" a level, or is "File Search" a level?
Just to clarify, "Fight for your rights" is a level within the mission called "File search".
Health drop stuff
No clue. I've had a look at the map source, and there's a kill zone under the boxes at your feet (so don't step off), but nothing that would obviously cause the symptoms you describe. Let's just blame it on quantum.
I noticed that in the final release, some of the parts of this level were easier. I don't know if that's just me, or if that was intentional.
It's just you. The original levels from Mission 1 were carried forward unchanged.
This UE2 sounds very hard to play.
Not really.
When i read the first time about this i believed it could turn to a multiplayer expension
You mean a new DA/DM/LC map? There's quite a few of them around already. Also: KA Mod, coming soon, for all your multiplayer needs.
but as i'm figuring right now it is singleplayer content only
Yup. UE = single player. It always has been.

:lol: Love the James Bond reference!

Currently in the MI6 mainframe, trying to find access to the Restricted area. :D

Love this mod, tho. Only other mod I ever downloaded was "Sim Mars" for Sim City 4, and that was horrible. All it did was change the land color and take all the water away. :-x

Hopefully, Killer-App will rock my socks off, too! (very likely :-D)

Maybe another UserError mod could have Jeremy (or some other character) making a post on LDSO or Tron-Sector's forums from inside the computer... :lol:

This may be too late, but:

To prohibit your health from falling upon entering the different challenges in the 'Fight for your Rights...', all you need to do is CROUCH UPON ENTERING the teleport. I did this and didn't lose any health.
My theory is that you somehow fall upon teleporting. But hey, w/e.

I'm up to the Pentagon level so far.

SweatyPyro thinks!

Okay, some thoughts on the mod:

- The walls and deisngs look plain, only 1 color!
+++++ Nice effects with cinematics
- Voice change!
++++++ Shocking NPC spawns make it edge on your seat. Yet, predictable!
++ That's one funky ladder.
+++ Those turrets hurt me.
+ Red z-lots.

I also uncovered a very bad glitch in the first level inside the satellite:
When you reactivated the Satellite comlink( or something), there is nothing stopping you from doing it more than once. Basically, you keep getting 5 build points just by activating the switch.

WOOOT! TRON IS ALIVE! Thank you kind developers.[/b]

Oh my User, that BVI level is hilarious! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Love how you got the Logic Probe in there! Best weapon ever! Also, nice job with the Solar Sailer!

*snicker* Desolate Housepeople *snicker*

Really, though, this fits the TRON universe PERFECTLY! Nice job of bringing back the commies, too! We are oweing them for the addiction that is being Tetris! :lol: Get it? It is being a Russian commie accent?

Don't know why, but that just reminded me of a quote from that Destroy All Humans game:

"Am I sober? Or am I being drunk in Soviet Union?" :lol:
Sorry, got a bit off topic there. hehe.

Well, there's not much we could do about that, considering Meatsack has disappeared.

But, I did mention to Win3K that there should have been some kind of explanation about the change. But did he listen? Noooooo. PDT_Armataz_01_28

Afternoon chaps
I didn't notice a change.
That's because there isn't one.
But did he listen? Noooooo.
I DID listen, and I recollect indicating that you needed to report to the ministry of love for adjustment of your erroneous thought processes. Sounds like you'll have company, as Pyro is, similarly, deluded.

The ending was AWESOME!!!!! If you read my review of the mod on tron-sector, you'll see why I think it fits perfectly.

There's been some discussion about making a UE3. But I think right now everyone involved wants to take a nice, long break from any projects.

I'd certainly like to take a crack at making at least a couple of levels next time.
