Turns out it's just one TRON Lego set, with everything included. Two Light Cycles (blue and red), 3 figurines (Sam, Quorra, Rinzler), a display base, Identity Discs for the figurines, plus some other accessories including a "Light Sword" for Quorra.

Release date is actually March 31st, instead of April. (Well, that's almost April. But an even closer release than expected!)

Here's the site page for the TRON Lego Light Cycles and figurines, with more photos. Cost is $34.99 USD.

Cool. I wonder why they are releasing them 8 years after the movie?

Lego has a program where they accept ideas for new sets, from the public. Someone proposes a Lego set and submits a design. Then it goes up for a vote. If the proposal gets enough votes, the set gets made.

It took this long for someone to get around to submitting a proposal, and to get it approved.

It's not going to kickstart Disney into making Tron 3, but it is nice to see something new from Tron coming out. 8-)

Custom LEGO TRON: Legacy Action Stand

Here is a custom action stand I built for LEGO Ideas set 21314 TRON: Legacy. It enables you to control the position and tilt of the light cycles and pose them in more dynamic ways than the stand that comes in the set. More information and building instructions can be found on my website: http://jkbrickworks.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Facebook:
