Heck!! I need something like that to just plot out the story for the Legacy of Kain series.... [thinks about series timeline.... gets bad headache from so many temporal paradoxes]....
In my day we didn't need these fancy R,G,B, LCD an 3D colors!
A program was happy to process 15 megacycles just to get to use monochrome display! You program's today wouldn't know a hard microcycles work if it came up and derez'd ya from behind!

If everything went fine, i might release a first alpha this weekend. This release won't be ment for the real productive use, instead more for a first preview and to get some first feebacks. So i can't just recommen just directly to start putting tons of data into it, more just to play around with. This program is mostly stable but not completely.
I also hope i can provide a very complexe theme (time, history and stuff) in a way so everyone likes to work with, tho this kind of application is not an everyday program. If you are not afraid in dealing with stuff like 'time-space-coodinates', 'existences defined as states through time' or 'paradoxes', well, then you definitely should have a look into it.

I'm not afraid as long as you leave Special Relativity out of it

Well, everything is relative, from a certain point of view.

First alpha-version thrown together and released:

xTImeline (201202032134)

Note the following:
-Manual is very raw, i'll will create a better one soon
-This application is alpha, so there will be bugs and this program is not really ment to be for productive use. If you use it this way anyway, take care about backups yourself
-I won't be responsible for any technical problems, either hard- or software

Known issues:
-Some graphical bugs (nodes might be static while dragging the timeline)
-Zooming in/out in the timeline might create errors
-Timeline scale, while zooming in timeline, might not be accurate
-Sorting of events in time table can be inaccurate sometimes
-Wiki-parser can have problems with multiline elements
-Menu elements sometimes don't have the right width
