No, that's okay...just let Tron.dll talk about his Guitar Hero game until he at least reaches adolescence.

Is that what that "Yahoo [bot]" thing is? Kinda had me wondering...

I don't see any purpose in spamming here, we get like, what, 2-3 visitors per day? 4 every other solar eclipse maybe? lol

Screw guitar hero. 30 covers on Rock Revolution beats World Tour's 85 master recordings any day of the week.

The Yahoo and Google bot aren't so bad, they are indexing our site. Of course, if they index incorrectly, the world of Tron 2.0 could be destroyed forever!

I don't know why the other fools spam here, the world of Tron does not need Viagra! ::0

Was the load "*" 8,1 supposed to load the first found file over a serial cassette port at 8 bits 1 parity?

LOAD "*",8,1 was to load the first program on the first 5.25" Floppy Disk Drive into memory for immediate execution. If immediate execution was not supported by the program in question, LOAD "*",8 would do it. In either case, if the program did not automatically execute, RUN would usually execute the program.

I think the * was used mainly for commercial programs. I remember having my own floppies with a bunch of games on it. I would have to type in Load"$",8 to get the list, then find the game I wanted, write in the Load text again in front of the name, and then typing Run.

I'm not sure about the 8 bits 1 parity, couldn't find anything about that. I believe the ,8 meant the 1st floppy drive ( ie. ,9 would be the second). ,1 just meant immediate execution. I remember sometimes you would write the ,1 and you would get a READY prompt. This means it didn't support the immediate execution. You would just have to type RUN and then press enter.

Also, I think the * looks cooler than the $ in Tron :P
