SW battlefront 2 problems

CRAP. and i was heralding the fact that vista doesnt have any compatibility problems. i just got this game and if i try to install it, it say 'E:/ is not a valid Win323 application'.
help please :-x

First guess: sounds like your computer is having trouble reading the install disc. Check the disc for smudges or scratches. Or if you have more than one CD/DVD drive, try the disc in the other one.

Are you trying to install it with the autorun program that opens or exporing the disc and manually running setup?

Do you have the DVD version of the game, or the one that comes with 3 or 4 PC discs?

I have both at my house, and the DVD version always takes forever to read. I usually have to put it in the F drive (I typically use E) for it to read. I don't understand why it's like that, but for the longest time I thought something was wrong with mine.

weird. i got really annoyed with the game and decided to sit and watch a few house episodes on dvd all night, all depressed. at the end, i put the cd back in to amuse my self by trying the install again, and it worked!

i really have no idea why it didnt work before but anyway, do many people play it here? wanna play me?

I used to play it occasionally. Now, I usually just LAN it with my son across the house. Maybe one day I'll meet you on Hoth for some brutally cold ass kicking.
