Hi all,

NOOOOOOOOOoooooooo............ :-(

hehe, overreacting a bit there....

Okay, so please tell me if I did something wrong during instalation of the mod. This is what I did:

1) Downloaded mod from main page
2) Saved .rar file to C:\Program Files\Games\Tron 2.0\Custom\Mods
3) Closed both web browser windows
4) Opened up RezHandler
5) Clicked Main>>Install mod .REZ files from Archive
6) Selected the UserError2 mod
7) Nothing happened

I did the same thing with the .rar files for the original UserError and DA-7982 and had the exact same problem. The only reason I have DA-7982 working on here is because TronFAQ sent me a .rez version of it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We had a issue with the first rar file.

Stand by we are currently addressing the problem and it should be fixed shortly for d/l.

Tron.dll

Slight teething troubles with the upload (my word, you were keen). Could you please go back to ldso.net, and download it again?

Many thanks

No, that's not how you do it.

You don't copy the .rar file to C:\Program Files\Games\Tron 2.0\Custom\Mods. You start up REZ Handler, click the "Install Mod" menu option, point it to where the .rar file is, and it puts the extracted .rez in the custom folder for you!

That's the whole point of REZ Handler. So you don't have to do anything but browse in the program to the file and click. No wonder you're having a problem. LOL. :-D

But there still was an issue with the UE2 download link. It was linked to the wrong file. It's fixed now.

So, do I need to move the .rar to My Documents or the like?

Nonetheless, "Custom" is not showing up on the Autorun.

Should the other file be deleted on the ftp site to avoid any future confusion or do we need it for anything?

1. Delete the .rar file already in the Custom folder
2. Download UE2 again
3. Put it wherever you usually put your downloaded files
4. Run REZ Handler and use the "Install Mod" menu option
5. Browse to the .rar file using the dialog window, don't forget to click the drop-down menu near the bottom to change the file list to look for .rar files instead of .zips
6. Click on the UE2 .rar file and it will install
7. Run the Tron 2.0 game launcher, click the Custom button, and put an X in the UE2 checkbox
8. PLAY

Deleting the other file might be a good idea to avoid confusion in the future. But make sure to delete the right one!

Never mind, I just deleted it. PDT_Armataz_01_34

Tried all that, same problem. No Custom box or anything.

I personally think it's a problem with my computer. Seems like I've done everything correctly and doesn't seem to work. I'll have to try it next week on the other PC I've got 2.0 installed on, see if it is in fact a problem with my PC. :???:

So, if you wish to try and keep helping me till then, go ahead, but I'll likely have to see the mod for myself next week sometime. :(

Are you sure you're choosing "Install Mod" and not "Install Map"?
