I remember hearing of this going on for quite a while over there, perhaps a similar version only opposite a few years ago.

It's actually funny.. I'm just wondering, what the hell was he thinking? Non-christians would see his dealership tag and do some of Gods work. . or petition his patrons to see if they'll STFU if they convert.

just wanted to restart this thread after a watching a documentry last night by louis theroux. he goes to kansa to meet the Westboro Baptist Church. for those of who havnt heard of them they picket dead soldiers funerals, gay pride marches, and have websites called GodHatesFags.com and GodHatesAmerica.com.

this got me thinking that although ive always been supporter of religion and thought people who think its the reason for wars as retards, but extremes of religions are always deluded excuses for violence.
whether its this ministry, the muslims you see on tv all the time going "WALLA WALLA, DEATH TO AMERICA!", the sikh who killed gandhi or the jews in Israel who constantly see the palestinian as threats.

One book that I've read regarding the flaws of religion and it's modern and past practices is called The End of Faith by Sam Harris. It's a very good book, but those who practice religion such as myself should be ready for a hailstorm of stuff hitting you hard.

yup sikh nationalists killed gandhi because he was being 'un-Hindu' by trying to bring peace between the muslims and hindus in India at the time :shock:
