Where the magic happens.
I have 2 monitors. I use my desktop a lot while working and collecting various stuff (old bad habit from using mac's) + I'm a digital pack rat...

Yikes! How do you find anything in that huge collection of icons?
My desktop is boring, so there's no point in posting a screenshot. Just the default Windows 7 theme with a handful of icons.

Re: whats your desktop look like?
My desktop details:
Background : 'clash of black holes when light has vanished' (B/W, special HDR version).
Desktopskin : 'WindowsXP'-Theme, set under WindowsVista which is running under Wine in Linux which is running in VirtualBox under WindowsVista; current color of theme is magenta, with saturation of 0%.
Icons : own design, i called if 'pure onyx', but i turned of any glow and reflection effects. But you can still see the great black outline design.
Sorry for all, but no one has a better desktop like me.

(Seriously: i need a tidy workspace as i do too much stuff, programs can be found under a self writen program launcher (see the 'xi'-logo in the systray, that's the tool)).

had to chop the screen in half, sorry. this is not my dual monitor setup. heh, it was a lot messier, been looking for an excuse to clean it up
oh, and for the sake of my anonymity, i did cut some stuff
