Tron 3 back on track for release

The on-again, off-again Tron 3 (for lack of a better title) sequel to Tron Legacy is back "on" again. Apparently, its release is being fast-tracked, and last everyone heard (from Bruce Boxleitner, Tron himself) the film was supposed to be released in 2014.
Hopefully, this news means that Tron Uprising has a chance of being renewed, after all?
