Production on TRON Ares has, unfortunately, been delayed due to the writers' and actors' strikes going on in Hollywood right now.

Bummer that it has been delayed, but I get it. I'm glad to hear though that Ares is not being scrapped because of this.

Now that the trailer's dropped, what are all of your opinions on this?

I'm excited about any new Tron, but overall...cautiously optimistic. I'm still on the fence about how the whole "real-word" and "digital world" collides scenario. I love the digital world of Tron and hope that it doesn't tarnish it. But hey, the soundtrack should be great!

So how was the new TRON movie?? I have been hesistant to watch it. As a lot of modern movies are eat up with politics anymore or messaging. ...or terrible CGI.
Would love to hear if its worth seeing or not.

I actually liked it quite a bit. I thought the story was good and moved Tron in a new direction. I saw it as a kinda soft reboot as it gives a new direction and playground for the "TRON" world. It's definitely worth a watch. I saw it in the theater and don't regret paying the theater price. If anything, it's worth the nostalgic trip with the easter eggs and certain scenes I don't wanna give away.
