weaponitem

has anyone played with the weaponitem object, i have used it in a couple of my maps, giving access to both the energy claw and rod primitive

Well, I did something similar in my CTB TDM map. I didn't use the WeaponItem object, but I used a DeathmatchPowerup and took advantage of its PickupCommand to give the player the Energy Claw. I also modified the powerup to look like the Energy Claw subroutine.
