First thing is you create a CAI Human Object in your world and give it the template property:

Next create a Spawner object in the world at the the location you want the character to spawn:

Last you will need to send a command to the Spawner Object to Spawn the targeted CAI Human Template referenced. The Spawn command could be sent in many different ways.

The command based on the sample above would be:

msg SPWN.01 (spawn)
ldso:// - Living Dead System Operators
[2.0PD] - 2.0 Program Developers

If you mean what I think you mean, you don't. They happen automatically. Though it seems you need to set the Goalset to Reinforcement.

Of, if you *need* another CAI goalset, add a special effect object at the same point as the spawner (called, f'rinstance: SFX.Spawn1), set the Fxname to Multi_Rezin_<yourchoiceofcolour> set Loop and StartOn to false, and trigger it at the same time as you issue the spawn:

msg SPWN.01 (spawn); msg SFX.Spawn1 ON

Thanks guys, it's working so far.

Another thing, after a while of me dodging them, they kinda lose interest and just sit there, staring at me. They don't even respond if I shoot at them. How do I make them keep fighting me?

That probably has to do with either the Alignment or SeeEnemyDistance and HearEnemyDistance values found in the AttributeOverrides window.

Set the Alignment to whichever character(s) you're using, and set both the SeeEnemyDistance and HearEnemyDistance to a value of say, 5000. The default distances are short, so once you move too far away they lose interest.

The Attributes are all set to 100k, set so they notice me the second they spawn in. But what should the alignment be?

Like I said, change the alignment to whatever character(s) you're spawning. So for example, if you're spawning regular ICPs, set your CAIHuman object to have the IC_Regular alignment.
