just to cool of from the drama in 'story behind the KA mod' thread, i just wanted to revive that thread that kinda went on these lines back on hattedbox. in some of my nerdier moments, i really think pictures of stuff in far away galaxies looks amazing, and here are a few
(bit big, sorry)

Yeah, I remember this thread. We had some really deep discussions about stuff that I didn't understand but only pretended to. Lots of words in that thread.

Hey cool! The top one looked like a penicillin bacterial swirl, yummy.

Did you know the apparent size of the Andromeda galaxy is 7x that of the moon? It'd be 7 moons across if your eyes were sensitive enough.

I've seen it, a blue blob in the sky without a telescope, but doesn't look big unless you've got a bionic eye.

7x the moons size is 24,332 km.the andromeda galaxy is 220,000 lightyears big.

I'm pretty sure he ment 7x the size of the moon if you watch it with your eyes and compare both dimension based on that what you see.
