4. When was I aware of the problem, and to whom were those problems addressed, and did you have any reason to find that problem would continue, why, and was I asked or was anyone there to fix the said problems, or did anyone encourage said problems within the clan?

5. without naming anyone, what do you think the opinions are of me, and was the voting process good for the people, or otherwise didn't mean anything to them? Could it be changed to a "respectful interpretive dialogue" based system from now on?

6. can I do anything to help you anymore in this clan? if so, or if not, please describe how I can interpret your intentions.

If you wish to discuss this q&a privately, I'd be happy with that.

I encourage the rest of the clan to speak up, since I ask that equal say is expressed in the clan, so please email me if any of you can. I won't speak of it if you wish for your privacy. I know some of you have investigated for yourselves, and may help clear this up, so I'd appreciate it, so that I can fix said problems myself, and feel like I enjoy the experience of hanging out and working with friends on the forums.

Thanks,
Jadem

***Since this thread is mainly about deserved credit,
Might as well give any other individuals out there a chance,
To finally state: "I was not credited for my efforts, you owe me!"
That is a private matter, and was directed to Tronfaq, but I'll address those motives, which was my intent. Several mappers have used their friends to help, then not give them credits, or in some cases refuse to.
I don't understand this statement. If it's "several mappers" now that you feel haven't given proper credit to people, why is it a private matter you wanted to ask only me? Who are these other people you're referring to?

Thanks for answering the questions I have about the mod creation/creators.
tronfaq wrote:I already answered some questions. What other questions would you like to hear answers to?
What I meant is that that I was aware that noone wanted me in on it, and I meant it as to express my emphasis on what a disservice, that I didn't have a better opportunity to get involved. I suppose you on the otherhand would label that pouting...

Oh, that's between those modders/mappers, since I am not speaking for anyone, I am not bringing names into the discussion. Some people I know have expressed regret for not handling similar situations with respect. Keep in mind this statement was an example of why this community should be a friendlier environment for the few who enjoy making material for those who love the game, but I'm sure you are aware of certain instances in your experience in this field. That's what I meant.

Firstly, Let me apoligize for the delay in my reply.
Works got me busy, so this was my first chance to post.

Ok now onto your questions,

1. Do you have a problem with me?
No, I do not have a problem with you.
2. What do you find offensive?
This is a rather vague question.
Before I answer,
Are you asking what I find offensive in general?
Pertaining to you and this situaton?
If you could elaborate on your question a bit,
Then perhaps I could better provide an answer for you.
3. How can you describe my behavior when this incident or coincidence occured?
At times it seemed to be polite,
Then at times it seemed rather rude.
4. When was I aware of the problem, and to whom were those problems addressed, and did you have any reason to find that problem would continue, why, and was I asked or was anyone there to fix the said problems, or did anyone encourage said problems within the clan?

Before I get into this question,
And I promise to answer it to the best of my abilities,
Please keep in mind,

To clarify for the last time!
Again this problem you describe about Aura,
And insist was the reson behind your dismissal from ldso,
Is not the case.

I have looked over my email records,
And I cannont find myself even aware of this Aura situation,
Nor did I ever make any referance of it to you,
As a grounds for dismissal, Ok?
So can we plase move on from this, thanks.

Im going to break down your question as best I can,
Please keep in mind the answers Im giving,
Pertain to the real reasons why you were asked to leave.
When was I aware of the problem
You were made aware right away.
I had spoken with you a few times about certain problems.
Firstly not discussing the topics in the Team only forums,
Secondly, You were asked not to give out alpha testing materials,
to anyone outside of the team.
This does not pertain to run/jumpspeed Tron coolness
and to whom were those problems addressed,
The problems were addressed to you.
If you want to know who was aware of the problems,
Everyone on the team (From that time period) noticed them.
and did you have any reason to find that problem would continue
Yes, because you were asked more than once.
Not only by myself, but a few others on the team as well.
why, and was I asked or was anyone there to fix the said problems, or did anyone encourage said problems within the clan?
Im having some trouble with the last part of your question,
Would you mind rephrasing so I could better answer for you thanks.
5. without naming anyone, what do you think the opinions are of me, and was the voting process good for the people, or otherwise didn't mean anything to them? Could it be changed to a "respectful interpretive dialogue" based system from now on?
As far as everyones opinion of you,
I can only speak for myself.
That really doesnt seem a fair question to ask of just me.
If you would like to know others opinion of you,
Please feel free to ask them here.

Everyone had a difficult time with the decision to ask you to leave.
Yes it ment something to them including myself,
Otherwise we would not have put it up to a vote.
Could it be changed to a "respectful interpretive dialogue" based system from now on?
Im not sure exactly what you mean by this,
I can say it was not a poll.

Everyone came together and posted how they felt.
So I guess you could say it was based on,
"respectful interpretive dialogue",
Not a ballot drop.

6. can I do anything to help you anymore in this clan? if so, or if not, please describe how I can interpret your intentions.
At this time Im not sure what else you could do for the clan.
I think things are still best left as they are for the time being.
please describe how I can interpret your intentions.
Im not sure how to describe it any better than that.
I just feel its better for both parties involved to remain seprated.

Im hoping the above has answered your questions.

Wether you choose them to be the truth,
Or bullscript I leave to you.

I will say,
If it wasnt the truth,
Or I didnt care,
This post would not be here,
And the entire thread,
Would have been deleated a long time ago.

So please keep that in mind,
When making your judgements.

Because honestly,
I dont have time to sit here and write out a post,
Thinking up lies at my age.

Yes, the question was meant in that way so that I may determine what is offensive by seeing you construct a broad conclusive statement, so I could understand by what method you base your logic.

When was I aware of the problem
Mor.Evil-1 wrote:You were made aware right away.

I recall you mentioning something, like don't share alpha DM ladder 1-3 or something. if that's the case, I apologize, but I don't recall anything other than that.. and I only shared one with 9volt and Anderson, whom liked it for the same reason, green fog. mk?

I never once shared source code, nor, do they make maps publicly, nor do those resemble or share any of LDSO material, and that was one instance, not any other time, have I shared a private alpha. So yeah, I understand where you're coming from albeit they are part of the killer app mod in many ways now.

Does that bother you too? I never see you guys anywhere on the grid, but for a minute, and you say next to nothing.

I probably asked permission for what I can remember of this.. (except some of my personal projects, hosting maps, Tron videos, which, noone had a problem with.)
Mor.Evil-1 wrote:Yes, because you were asked more than once.

Just what is it? I can't even bring to mind you ever talking to me in a concise manner on what I said, or whatnot. I recall Load saying something while I was talking to Nicola on Load's Pbit map.. I can't say it was bad, but you get a snowball effect with the policy you keep.

One time, you PM'd me addressing the issues, and wouldn't dialogue that issue in a constructive way.

The second time, was when Avanze was on my teamspeak, and stirred up trouble. I gave the easter eggs away, but that was just a few times. I don't get this..

It's so simple to make me leave, I don't argue logic, prescriptively, why not just do it with dignity and be up front? I would have made a clan in a heartbeat.

I've spoken 5 words to you on teamspeak for 3 years. But when you were made aware of who was on teamspeak, I saw that the problem occured somehow, but not addressed directly by anyone other than Tronfaq, whom I may add was dialoguing with others outside of the clan in situ the mod.

Meanwhile that speaks for it's self, I'd like to say that my part was only complimentary, and I know personally I didn't do or give my best, but that's another story. so for that I sincerely apologize.

Thanks for answering, if you don't mind, I hope to hear anything you might add. thx. And yes we're both getting old, and if I were young I wouldn't have bothered.

I've stopped reading, because I have been learning nothing about what's going on in the preceding posts. All you guys have been doing is arguing back and forth, contradicting each other, and spouting insults. Could I possibly have an account from all three of you on exactly what happened? No contradicting each other, either. If it helps, don't even read the other people's accounts before writing yours.

If I'm getting too nosy for my own good, remember that this is a public thread, so I have the right to be nosy.

Yeah, man...death_program is right. This place went from retirement home to The Jerry Springer Show.

The internal conflict has overshadowed the mod itself. People that find this site after hearing about a Tron 2.0 mod might be turned off at the sight of this public display of gross dysfunction.

I couldnt agree with the two of you more.

However,
We aim to please here at ldso.

Jademz requested,
That these issues be discussed for all to read in the public forums.

So hence the thread.

Sorry if anyone has taken offence.

Perhaps the both of you,
Could better convince him,
That these issues be dealt with in private,
Than openly in a public forum.

I agree that this bickering doesn't do any good for the site, or the community.

Like I said at the start of the thread, I made three attempts to contact Jademz and settle things privately. He didn't respond. This is the only way he would communicate with us on these issues.

I think the big problem for most of us spectators is that this debate is spinning around in a giant circle. Every reply only repeats something that was said earlier, as if it was on an infinite loop.

Also, there simply isn't enough vulgar language to keep my f#*@ing interest in it. Take off the damn gloves and make it personal. This is like watching a pillow fight between grown men...it's boring and has no entertainment value. It does not belong in the General Off-Topic section along with my epic "Random Rants" thread.

EDIT: For future reference, here's how one mod team handled their problems.

This all could have been avoid with 1 action. Anybody want to take a nasty guess at what it would have been?
