I thought that taking the medals won for a country divided by their population would be interesting, and found it on the 'net http://www.billmitchell.org/sport/medal_tally_2008

This guy even weighted the medals for gold/silver/bronze. I think this has more meaning for a country than simply # of medals won. As far as I know as to the origin of the people on here, Great Britain was ahead of us all, nice job! Germany was next, then Canada, lastly USA. Jamaica was 1st. China was behind all the above countries, believe it or not, even though they had the most golds.

Interesting eh?

yeah the jamaicans definitely were a suprise with their accomplishments, considering it isnt the largest country in the world. and as for GB, hell we were even suprised at how well we did!

cuz if the idiots would stop telling ouya junk science, you'd have a source. 1/2 a barrel of oil to advance alternative energy. GROSS. Then you will see a politician who wasn't bought by some asrwipe. U R Not my prezidnet.

Yeah that post was a result of a conversation I had with 9volt, about the Presidential nominees here addressing the issue of drilling for oil, comparing only fuel from the barrel of oil, while inflating tires as an objective argument to oppose big oil - is a real science and backed up by reputable institutions, I think scientists in general look like idiots with this crap, and pandering idiots are full of script.

I expect that the conservative method would be to make statements like that, but I think it's ignorant. How about they present us with real science. Take a barrel of oil. every dime of it, and what people use in their environment in oil, and make each state meet a requirement to make facilities that use alternative energy to replace that which is taken from oil, and save half the oil, THAT"S OUR FUCCING DOLLAR. Not while it's in the ground.. so when I made that post, you could see what offends me, but I'm still civil. Just take into consideration I was probably not even fully awake, and pissed about tards for president making ppl laugh.
