Team Fortress 2: Scout Update

Post by SweatyPyro »

So, who wants to play ball? I spent the better half of my weekend on a Scout Achievement server, so I managed to get the new shotgun and bat.

Comments? Comments?

It's pretty much a bunch of scouts running around, killing each other for the most part. However, you can work with others and get some achievements done. The way the maps they run are made makes for ideal achievement unlocking. In one map I played one, There was a tower to get Force of Nature'd off of, they have a pool, acid pool, and easy to cap intel that can let you get some of the achievements done quickly.

I'd try it out if I were you.

Morning chaps

Mainly, you demonstrate to the world that you lack the capability to play the game and win achievements in the way that the game designers intended, and that you are sufficiently lacking in self confidence that you honestly believe that lots of achievements = lots of friends + u r teh 733t3st playr. :P

AGREED!!!!!!! What a lame way to unlock your achievenemts...a bunch of incompetent players running around begging each other "Let me kill you ten times, and you can kill me ten times". I don't have a ton of achievements in TF2, but the ones I do have were earned with quick reflexes, a certain amount of skill, and sometimes just dumb luck...and they're MINE, ALL MINE!!!!!

Seconded, lol.

Tons of scouts on acheivement servers? When the Scout update was released, there were nothing but scouts on REGULAR servers. Quite honestly it was a nightmare. Constant scout rushes taking me down as a heavy in 3 seconds. ::0

btw, anyone notice the ShamWow references in some of the new domination taunts?

"Look at that, I just caved in your skull. But look, no blood, no clumps of hair, the bat's completely dry!"
"And if ya call right now, we'll throw in a second beating, absolutely free!"

Lol, did not notice, Tron.

And thank you folks for insulting me.
In my defense, I only did it for the unlocks. Nothing else. If you guys find that so hard, then you're all jerks. Jerks! :x
Jerks!

Right! Now that I cooled off, win3k, personally I don't believe I can get a lot of friends from achievements, lol. Sad for people that do though.

And while you have Scouts running around your maps, what better time is it to unlock achievements for OTHER classes? I hear Scouts burn REEAAAAL Good. :D

Yeah, I've been playing as Heavy quite a bit, trying to unlock it's achievements. Scout rushes get the best of me though.

I love playing Pyro, jumping into the middle of a group of enemies and hitting the left mouse button as I do a 360 degree pirouette and torch every piece of living flesh around me. Those stupid scouts go up like matchsticks.

LOL...stupid scouts.

Evening chaps
And thank you folks for insulting me.
You're welcome. We're here all week, try the chicken.
In my defense bwah bwah bwah bwah bwah
Sorry, I stopped reading at the word "defense". You don't have one. Stay off the achievement servers. Play it proper like. M'kay?

Achievement servers.... pfft. Oxymoron, if ever there was one.

And now we are on the midst of the Sniper Update.

Look at the 2fort walls while you can. It's the last chance you'll have before they're completely covered in red and blue dots, lol.
