no problem
while hacking his computer and arguing with the MPC tronman was shot with a laser from behind and digitized. when half digitized a message window poped up and it read
fatal error file canot be transfered click ok to cancel
WARNING file will be lost

something i plan on making a regular in my courses, an area that slowly kills you, like a point every two seconds, this is the under regions of my warzone map, i am updating the file immediately after i post this, so feel free to give it a go

new thing, how do i create an area where players cannot die? either weapons are put away and cannot be unholstered, or weapons simply don't do any damage, or players regain life so fast that weapons just dont kill them would be fine too.
any of these methods would be acceptable.
how many of you have downloaded and played my map, and how do you like it?

Two of those methods are pretty easy to do.


You can have the players put away their weapons and prevent them from using them. I'm pretty sure this will work in Derez.

Code: Select all

msg activeplayer (changeweapon hands); msg activeplayer lockweapon
Then later you need to undo it.

Code: Select all

msg activeplayer unlockweapon; msg activeplayer (changeweapon disc)
If that doesn't work, go back to the tutorial I wrote about energy pools. Just leave out the polygrid that represents the water. Create a HealthZone (which will be invisible) and set its Damage to -100 so it instantly regenerates the players' health. But I suspect that if a player's health reaches zero, the HealthZone won't regenerate the players fast enough before they die.

okay, i have an idea, i want another ldso member to make a set of 2 or more vehicles for the vehicularwarfare map
the file will be uploaded to my regular site, and it will be named, floven1vehicularwarfarefinalmix
EDIT: final mix does refer to this being likely my final working on the map
